It started with Edmond.

In 1968, Edmond Eckelmans develops the first of many ‘Campusses Irena’, as an alternative for the musty upper rooms in the houses of the landlords. Students can get an affordable, modern, well-equiped individual studio, with a resident janitor in the building to facilitate them.

Quality student housing is for private investors a new and unexplored field.
